Jyotsna leads the Central Marketing Organization at Microsoft India supporting the
consumer and commercial businesses across Microsoft's portfolio of devices and
services. She leads Marketing Communications, Digital Marketing, Business Analytics and Events capabilities and teams to drive Integrated Marketing for Windows, Office, Microsoft
Azure, Windows Server, System Center, SQL Server and Dynamics. Her work on leading cross-divisional, multifunctional teams to deliver a Big Data driven Integrated Marketing campaign has been acknowledged as a WW best practice and awarded the best Data Driven Integrated Marketing campaign. Her work on Content Marketing has driven strong thought leadership for Microsoft’s Cloud vision and strategy. In an earlier role, she spent a decade at PepsiCo where she led and grew brands and
teams in both mature and start up situations, across different business models and
under varying competitive and P&L pressures. She led key categories at PepsiCo’s
Snacks and Beverage businesses, scaling up brands like Pepsi, Mountain Dew, 7 Up,
Nimbooz, Mirinda and Kurkure.
As an independent management consultant, she has worked on Business Strategy,
Portfolio Strategy, Strategic Brand Management, Category Innovation and Marketing
Capability Build assignments. She started her career at JWT, New Delhi, amidst the cola wars. As Account Director, Pepsi, she helped build and develop Pepsi’s strongest and most enduring equity drivers, including the brand’s communication posture, and its building blocks – Cricket, Music and Youth Activation. Jyotsna and her husband Raman currently reside in Gurgaon with their son, Karan and their basset hound, Gilly. She is a movie buff, an avid reader and loves travelling.
