Sapna Chadha is designated as Vice President – Marketing, Central Marketing Organisation, American Express Banking Corp in India with responsibility for marketing across all American Express lines of business in India.  Sapna has displayed tremendous marketing thought leadership and execution excellence in the launch of numerous products, initiatives & customer campaigns. The Jet co-brand Card, the award winning ”Kohinoor” campaign targeted at upgrading high value customers,  creating the American Express Platinum airport lounges and last but not the least the Centurion Product (Black Card_ launch are some of her many accomplishments. She is a member of India Business Leadership team  at American Express India. Under her leadership, she heads customer loyalty and management, customer communications, Brands & Events, Acquisition marketing, customer experience, digital marketing and strategy and social media. Prior to this, she was responsible for revitalizing and enhancing the value proposition of American Express consumer products, building the product line from entry level to super premium, driving insurance revenues and optimizing profitability of the portfolio. Sapna has held multiple roles in American Express since 2004 . In OPEN, she drove several loyalty and engagement strategies to drive customer spends and program profitability of US small business customers, and also gained significant experience in Product and Brand Management focused on driving increased profitability of Platinum and Centurion products. Sapna then joined American Express International, where she played a critical role in establishing the World Markets organization as Director, Business Planning and driving investments and strategies across fifteen American Express international markets. In 2008, Sapna moved to India and has since played a key role in the ICSS India growth story. She had been instrumental in elevating Amex positioning in the premium segment and transforming customer scores across our Travel & Lifestyle teams.  Prior to joining American Express, Sapna was a management consultant with Deloitte Consulting in the US. Sapna is an MBA from the Kellogg’s School of Management and a BBA from the University of Michigan, USA. She is married to Ranvir and enjoys reading, dancing and travelling and most important playing with her two year old twins.
