The CEO brings a view from the top on how Advocacy is the true end game for Loyalty Management... to maximise value through the customers life time. Retail offers the unique opportunity of knowing your customers in depth. Most of our past efforts have been purportedly in maximising customer value proposition although in effect we always measured business indicators like number of repeat purchases, ticket size, rev/customer, ability to get customers to consume multiple product lines or categories etc etc. The over abundance of loyalty programs, the desire of the customer to try new formats, and the non-linear growth of internet access leading to customers flocking to Ecommerce - what is the role of CRM in this new world? How will retailers/marketers cope and indeed exploit the opportunities offered? What is the role of coalition programs? Will payment solutions (including wallets) remain a different stream? Will share past and current examples as also my understanding of where it is headed and what we need to do
