Ajay Davessar is the Global Head of Corporate Communications at HCL Technologies Ltd., a $5.2 billion global information technology services company. He joined HCL in the year 2009 and is responsible for Corporate Communications across 31 countries around the globe. This includes leading strategic initiatives which are focused on HCL’s growth strategy across geographies including Europe. He is responsible for strengthening partnership with diplomatic forums such as Governments, Embassies, Trade Bodies, Clients and Thought Leadership Platforms.

In his 21 years of experience he has worked as Head Marketing and Corporate Communication at Capgemini India, as Vice-President International at Publicis-Digitas, Head Marketing and Communication at Syntel India. As Business Head consultant at Relationship Marketing consulting firm, Kankei, he has undertaken assignments at several locations in South Asia for Global organizations like HP, Microsoft, Dell, Western Union India and Indonesia, VISA, P&G, ICICI Bank, Johnson & Johnson.

He is a visiting faculty at IMT Ghaziabad and lectures at IIM Lucknow, MDI Gurgaon, FMS New Delhi, NMIMS Mumbai and Amity. Ajay is an MBA with specialization in Marketing and Systems from Kurukshetra University.
